    – reflect and discuss the content of the mental health module
    – share their own experiences/lessons learned in the provision of mental health care to their patients and communities
    – provide other resources and references related to mental health issues arising from COVID-10 and other global health emergencies

I have had experience with managing several patients who had background mental health problems that worsened with in the era of Covid-19. A clear example that readily comes to mind is a middle aged menopausal woman whose 2 Children had since long left home, and her husband traveled often on account of work. She contracted Covid-19 and this further compounded her level of anxiety because she was the major care giver of her Mother who had been bed ridden for several years. Her symptoms worsened and she was at the time of presentation experiencing depressive and anxiety related symptoms.
I have noted that multiple layers of perceived challenges on the psycho social domains increase the level of mental health disorders.
